Downed power lines are extremely dangerous and could be deadly. If you see one, always assume it’s energized and stay at least 50 feet away—that’s about the length of a semi-truck trailer.

⚠️ DO NOT TOUCH the line or anything in contact with it.
🚶‍♂️ Shuffle or hop away slowly, keeping your feet together to avoid electric shock.
🚗 Never drive over a downed line. If one touches your vehicle, stay inside and call for help. Tell others to stay clear.
🚨 If you must exit the vehicle, jump clear without touching it and the ground at the same time. Shuffle away—don’t run.
